Amrit Rijal is a young child rights activist and climate activist from Nepal. Currently he is serving as a chairman of Nepal Youth Network For SDGs District Committee Sunsari and country director at the World Youth Organisation. He is also a campaign founder of ‘1000 hands 500 trees’. For over five years, Amrit has been a noteworthy leader in the child rights space. He is known for his work as the facilitator for child-friendly local governance but Amrit can also be credited with contributions to end the violence against children, leadership among youth, and advocating for climate action. He has already been covered in the segment of millennial teens in ‘The Himalayan Times. He enjoys volunteering, dancing, traveling, and book reading. Amrit believes in diversified unity and dreams to build a safe and child-friendly Nepal.
