Kathmandu, April 5, 2018: Application is now open for the role of Participant for the second edition of Wai Wai Presents Glocal International Teen Conference scheduled to be held from 31 August to 2 September, 2018 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Glocal Pvt. Ltd is organizing the conference to create a platform for knowledge and experience sharing where teenagers can learn about leadership, empowerment and social impact through a participatory and interactive environment with their peers from all over the globe. It is an opportunity for teenagers to authentically address issues that are important to them without having to overcome barriers.
The participants will be facilitated with a learning experience that will lead them to become change makers. Not only participants will lead forward to become change makers but they will gain the opportunity of networking with enthusiastic teen leaders from various countries of the world, learn and share their ideas. It also aims to promote cross cultural exchange.
This year we are having 15 amazing teen Speakers and 3 teen Presenters from 8 countries across Globe. The Speakers for Entrepreneurship Panel are Abul Bashar Rahman (Bangladesh), Heet Shah (India), Ahmed Sajidan Jarjis Rafsan (Bangladesh), Sachin Dangi (Nepal). Likewise for Empowerment Panel, we have Rodain Malcolm Richardson (Jamaica), Siddhi Shah (India), Uchizi Phakati (Malawi), Ashna Poudel (Nepal) and Lovia Mireku (Ghana). In the Socio Perspective panel, Sankalp Mohan Sharma (India), Hoang Anh Ngo (Vietnam), Prajesh Khanal (Nepal) and Nada Esmail Saleh Al-Ahdal (Yemen) will be speaking.
Likewise Aryaman Sojitra (India), Lirisha Tuladhar (Nepal) and Lê Nguyễn Minh Khôi (Vietnam) will be giving their presentation in Entrepreneurship, Empowerment and Socio-perspective respectively.
The conference is supported by 25+ partners like Wai Wai, Panchakanya, Coca-Cola, Honda, Toyota, UNDP (Nepal) , EU, Nepal Tourism Board, IMS group, Turkish Airlines and Sparrow SMS.

- Should be a teenager (13-19 years of age)
- Should be enthusiastic to learn, explore and take initiative to create an
