GITC is an amazing platform to share your ideas, initiation, insights, perspectives and experience, side by side reflecting on the world affairs and impacts based on teenagers and youth. As a Speaker and Presenter, you can share your ideas and experiences which in turn will motivate other fellow teens to be change-makers. You can present your insights on various global issues to solve local issues. You will be able to inspire and lead here.


It is an opportunity to network with teenagers around the globe, initiate collaborations and identify opportunities for growth, thereby, building long lasting friendships and fostering cultural exchange. GITC is merely a conference, but a place teenagers come to share and learn. It is a place where ideas meet and collaborations take place.

Dear Speakers and Presenters,

Welcome to GITC Family!

In 2018, we received an overwhelming number of applications. The application being very qualitative, the selection was more competitive. We are pleased to announce our Speakers and Presenters who shall be speaking at the panel discussion and giving the presentation on the key issues this year.

For the Entrepreneurship panel, Abul Bashar Rahman (Bangladesh), Heet Shah (India), Ahmed Sajidan Jarjis Rafsan (Bangladesh) and Sachin Dangi (Nepal) will take their role as Speakers.

Likewise, for Empowerment Panel, we have Rodain Malcolm Richardson (Jamaica), Siddhi Shah (India), Uchizi Phakati (Malawi), Ashna Poudel (Nepal) and Lovia Mireku (Ghana).

In the Socio Perspective Panel, Sankalp Mohan Sharma (India), Hoang Anh Ngo (Vietnam), Prajesh Khanal (Nepal) and Nada Esmail Saleh Al-Ahdal (Yemen) will be speaking.

Likewise, Aryaman Sojitra (India), Lirisha Tuladhar (Nepal) and Lê Nguyễn Minh Khôi (Vietnam) will be giving their presentation in Entrepreneurship, Empowerment and Socio-Perspective respectively.

In few months we hope to welcome you all in Nepal for Wai Wai Presents GITC-2018.

Call for Application : Participants

Application is now open for the role of Participant for the second edition of Wai Wai Presents Glocal International Teen Conference scheduled to be held from 31 August to 2 September, 2018 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Glocal Pvt. Ltd is organizing the conference to create a platform for knowledge and experience sharing where teenagers can learn about leadership, empowerment and social impact through a participatory and interactive environment with their peers from all over the globe. It is an opportunity for teenagers to authentically address issues that are important to them without having to overcome barriers.

The participants will be facilitated with a learning experience that will lead them to become change makers. Not only participants will lead forward to become change makers but they will gain the opportunity of networking with enthusiastic teen leaders from various countries of the world, learn and share their ideas. It also aims to promote cross cultural exchange.

Entrepreneurship Panel

Heet Shah


Heet describes himself as a pattern finder and an aspiring social entrepreneur. He is currently working on a project that deals with the individual responsibility of garbage disposal and how it will grow a nation’s economy.

    Ahmed Sajidan Jarjis Rafsan


    Ahmed is the Founder and President of The Dream Foundation where he and his team works to design and develop products to reduce water wastage in Domestic, Industrial and Agricultural situations.

      Sachin Dangi


      A person with a passion and a vision to combine science for the betterment of society, Dangi is a Founding president of Teenage Society of Nepal. He also serves as a President of SharemyWrite. He was awarded Glocal Teen Hero in 2017.

        Abul Bashar Rahman


        Abul Bashar is a Founder and Chief Executive Officer of two social organizations: Green and Feed'Em. He is also the Co-founder and Event Manager at the HELP Team. He envisions to do something for the people, society and the environment.

          Prajesh Khanal


          Prajesh is currently working on a project named ‘I Consumed my Oxygen’ and works to foster empowerment through various training, workshops and direct communication. He is one of Glocal's 20 unde

            Sankalp Mohan Sharma


            At the age of 16, Sankalp became India’s Youngest Climate Reality Leader. He is also the youngest State Head of the Global Walk for Water Campaign. He works as a Sustainable Development Activist.

              Ngô Hoàng Anh


              Born and raised in Vietnam, Ngô Hoàng Anh is the Director of Operations at Sustainable Agriculture and Social Enterprise (SANSE). She also served as a delegate in Global Youth Summit, 2017 in Combod

                Uchizi Phakati


                Uchizi grew up in Malawi and is a freshman at Husson University. She work with African organizations that fight for Girl Child Education Rights. She was a Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Award winner in 2016.

                  Lovia Ohenewaa Mireku


                  Coming from West Africa, Lovia is a junior high school student attending the Bethel Methodist Academy. Currently she is working on her start up; a small scale business in arrangement of beads.

                    Ashna Poudel


                    Ashna Poudel is involved in the project ‘Sukarmi’, an initiative of Rooster Logic Pvt. Ltd. She is also working as Media Manager at Teenage Society Nepal. Ashna is Glocal's 20 under 20, batch of 2017.

                      Rodain Malcolm Richardson


                      Rodain is the Founder of Jamaica Youth Motivators and is a Shashamane Youth Ambassador. He is also the Ambassador of the Governor General's 'I Believe Initiative' and Member of the National Youth Parliament of Jamaica.

                        It addresses issues which commonly we do not care however it is important for us in the future since we will get closer into our productive age. I don’t regret to travel 2815 miles from Indonesia to Nepal to join GITC!
